I got this diaper pail for my baby shower and was actually really excited to use it. It’s got a sleek design, and I’ve always gotten excited over new toys. My husband put it together right away. At first I thought he put it together wrong because it made a loud clicking sound every time you closed it. It clicks when you open it, and you’ve got to push it down to close it which makes a louder click. This was so annoying when I was trying to put my son to sleep and had to put a diaper away. We soon found out that it eats through batteries like nobody’s business! It also sucks that it takes the expensive kind, not the cheap AA or AAA but the D’s! Needless to say, we’ve stopped using it. I would not recommend it to anybody because of the cost to maintain it. Yes, it is quiet and eliminates odors, but it’s not worth it’s price tag.
